Questions about Bidzop

Updated

What is Bidzop?

Bidzop is a marketplace for electronic and machinery components. The canonical host is https://bidzop.com. Buyers search listed stock and post requests for quote. Suppliers list inventory. Brokers quote open demand. It was previously called PartSignal. Search engines should use that host.

Does Bidzop collect payment?

No. Payment terms on an order are words such as prepay, net 30, or letter of credit. Bidzop does not charge a card, run a payout, or sit in the middle of the bank transfer. A commission line is a recorded obligation, not a charge.

Does Bidzop hold funds?

No. If a complaint is declined by either party, it closes unresolved, and Bidzop does not hold the funds. The same sentence applies when both parties accept a recommendation. The seller's warranty window is the seller's. Bidzop is not the warrantor.

How does a buyer request a quote?

Search a manufacturer part number, open a request for quote, and set a quantity. Suppliers and brokers who use this market can answer. The request is not automatically sent to every distributor in the world. The quote form itself is a signed-in tool and is kept out of the public sitemap.

How do suppliers list stock?

A distributor or manufacturer account opens Inventory and updates the lines buyers see. Those lines live in the market database. The database file on a developer machine is Sandbox. Postgres is Live only after the driver connects and the market migrations have been applied.

What do brokers do?

Brokers read open demand and the spread between their cost and the buyer's target. They can quote. If the parties later choose Order on Bidzop, the commercial line is recorded. If they buy the goods themselves, Bidzop creates no purchase order and no commission.

What is the BOM room?

The BOM room holds shared bills of materials for the people on the bill. Seats are purchaser, engineer, supplier, and broker. Suppliers and brokers bid. A purchaser awards a quantity as an order intent on Bidzop or offline. The room is a working screen, so it is disallowed in robots.txt. The public explanation is the shared-BOM guide.

When is distributor stock Live?

Only after the integration's own smoke check is recorded on that host. A Mouser key without MOUSER_SMOKE_OK stays Sandbox. Nexar stays Stub until both the client id and the client secret exist, and it is not Live until NEXAR_SMOKE_OK follows a real lookup. The lab follows the same pattern with LAB_SMOKE_OK. The badge on the page is the claim.

Is every part on the internet in the catalog?

No. Sitemap part pages come from the stored catalog, and only parts that pass the index rules are listed. A thin part, a duplicate description, or a part with no listing is left out or marked noindex. Search can ask Mouser when that feed is enabled. A miss is not filled in with a guessed datasheet.

What is Worksline?

Worksline is the industrial edition on this same host. It lists industrial components for plant buyers, producers, stockists, and contractors. Requirements and services stay on a stub board, and the sample book is labeled sample. It is not a second copy of the Bidzop order book.

Does Bidzop track shipments with a carrier?

No. A person types the milestone. The same tracking number can be used to add another event. An exception recorded there does not open a complaint by itself. Bidzop does not ask a carrier.

Which pages should be indexed?

Index the home page, this FAQ, the about page, the answers page, the guides, and the catalog hubs and part pages that the XML sitemap lists. Do not index accounts, the operations desk, orders, cases, the watchlist, inventory editing, the lab, the desk, quote forms, or API routes. Those paths are disallowed in robots.txt.

How do answer engines use this site?

Google Search, including AI Overviews and AI Mode, uses the normal index. There is no separate opt-in file for those features. llms.txt is a map for other agents. Google has said it ignores that file, so it is not a ranking lever. Visible questions on this page are ordinary HTML. They are not FAQPage markup, because Google retired FAQ rich results on 7 May 2026.

Where is the sitemap?

https://bidzop.com/sitemap.xml is a sitemap index. It points at a pages sitemap for these documents and at hub and category sitemaps for catalog URLs. Each URL has a lastmod date for the last content change of that document. The file does not use priority or changefreq. Submit that index in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools after the domain serves this host. This repository does not send an IndexNow ping by itself.
